赤泊

両津
両津は、佐渡島最大の玄関口、大佐渡と小佐渡を分ける国中平野の東岸にある。「津」は港の意、加茂湖北東岸に夷、湊の２港があったことに由来する。1868年（明治元年）新潟港が五大開港場に指定されると、両津はその補助港となった。その後、県下第一の水産漁獲物水揚港に発展した。
