This time we will be traveling to Taiwan for 3 nights and 4 days! It’s been a while, so I’m looking forward to it. I want to eat a lot of delicious food and see beautiful things♪ I was transported from my home to the airport in a comfortable car.

The driver gave me a smile and we set off. We arrived at Haneda Airport, Terminal 3. This time we will be flying with EVA Airlines, a full-time carrier in Taiwan. Since it is Star Alliance, those with SFC status can receive priority processing. I left my luggage and got a ticket♪

Although it was a weekday, it was very crowded and there was a long line for security. In the lounge, eat some famous curry and relax for a while. This time, for local communication, I was introduced to an eSIM called trifa, so I tried using it♪ If you install the

App, you can use the Internet when traveling abroad♪ I arranged rental Wi-Fi. Even if you don’t have the trouble of replacing the SIM locally or are not used to it, the app will give you advice from the beginning. It is also reliable that there is Japanese chat support!

There are also excursion plans that can be used in 195 countries around the world without having to switch. For those who don’t know how many gigabytes to buy, there is also a plan diagnosis ♪

You can check your data usage within the app, and you can easily top up your data if you run out. Even if you decide to go abroad, you can just choose a plan from the app while you’re there!

We have prepared a discount code for everyone who watches the video, so please take advantage of it! It’s a 4-hour flight to Songshan International Airport in Taiwan. There is also Taoyuan Airport, but Songshan Airport is located in downtown Taipei and is very convenient.

This is the in-flight meal. Japanese food: pork sukiyaki and soba noodles. This is a Western dish, similar to seafood doria. After eating the in-flight meal and relaxing, you’ll be in Taiwan in no time. As expected, it is located in the center of Taipei, so the buildings are densely packed.

I have arrived, my favorite Taiwan! The currency is the New Taiwan dollar, and 1NT$ is approximately 4.6 yen at the time of the photo shoot. Approximately 23 million people live in a land the size of Kyushu. After passing through immigration, I went out to the arrival gate and

Saw this crowd of people in front of me. This is a lottery campaign by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau for foreign travelers! Pre-register and enter the lottery here. Surprisingly, Mr. Monjiro guessed it! I received a Yo-Yoker charged with 5000 NT$ (23,000 yen).

It is a transportation IC card similar to Japan’s Suica, and can be used at convenience stores. I’ll also have some cash ready. New Taiwan dollar. I only exchanged 20,000 yen. Connect your eSIM. Here’s how to set it up. It’s easy to understand as it provides easy-to-understand instructions ♪

If you’re using an eSIM for your first overseas trip, we recommend trifa! I went out of the airport, the weather was bad, but I felt great♪ I could already see 101. I really feel like I’ve come to Taipei♪ I head to the hotel by taxi. Monjiro’s smartphone also switches in the car.

You can connect to the local line right away and be able to send stably ♪ This is the hotel I definitely want to stay at next time I go to Taiwan! “Mandarin Oriental Taipei”. You will be overwhelmed by the stately European buildings. We were warmly welcomed and entered the building.

When you step inside, you’ll find perfect beauty from floor to ceiling! This luxury hotel is currently considered the best in Taipei. I would like to stay here for 3 nights and enjoy the hotel and sightseeing. This is what the room looks like! It’s spacious, classy and calming.

It’s an elegant space with nothing to say. There is a separate bedroom and a bathroom with plenty of marble. I was deeply moved by the many welcome amenities I received♡ Inside the hotel, I had dinner at a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant♪I was very satisfied with the luxurious menu, which generously used rare ingredients.

We also enjoyed afternoon tea in the beautiful lounge area. In addition, we introduce various parts of the hotel in detail, so please take a look at the hotel accommodation report ♪ Today I would like to enjoy the day outside ♪

Since it is my third time in Taipei, I would like to take it easy and take it easy. . We arrived at the Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Park, a stylish place where you can enjoy art, culture, shopping, and dining. There are also stores that are familiar to us.

I found Tapioca’s Shunsuido. The parfait looks delicious♪ This is the site of a sake brewery that was built in 1914 during the Japanese colonial period. It is a vast creative art space in the metropolis where past and present intersect.

Even if you just walk around, there are so many cute miscellaneous goods that your eyes will be happy with. Furthermore, there were so many different plants that I thought it was a botanical garden. I was able to experience the latest and fashionable Taiwan, and I loved it.

There’s a coffee shop here that I’m looking for, so I’m going to stop by. This is this cool black one. It is said to be the world champion latte art shop. When you go inside, you can see that there is an atrium and a second floor.

The red brick and black brand colors are very stylish. My recommendation was the charcoal latte, which I ordered without hesitation. There are also black baked goods. I took the opportunity to purchase it. It smells good and sounds good.

Customers come one after another, but there are also many take-out customers, and the atmosphere inside is good. Our coffees seemed to be finished and we were called over. beautiful. Since it’s a charcoal latte, bamboo charcoal is used, making it pitch black. I love the beautifully made latte art.

Baked sweets are pineapple cake and financier. It doesn’t taste like bamboo charcoal, but the latte is very delicious. Pineapple cake has a simple, old-fashioned flavor. The inside is also pitch black. I’m in a good mood because I saw beautiful things and received beautiful things ♪

It was Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Industrial Park and “CHLIV”. Let’s have lunch ♪ It’s near the Huashan 1914 mentioned earlier. I thought this restaurant looked delicious so I checked it out. It’s a cute signboard. It’s a restaurant called “Goodbeitao.” It has a very stylish atmosphere. The xiao long bao looks delicious♪

When I entered, I saw that it was crowded with locals. It’s very beautiful and clean, and the art collection is lined up so it’s cute. You can see Japanese on the menu. There are also large photos that are very easy to read.

The menu is similar to what I imagine a Chinese restaurant to be like. There are many xiao long bao menus. We also have dim sum, noodles, desserts, etc. The stylish restaurants in Taiwan have cool menus, SNS, and photos. Lastly, drinks. I want to drink tea because the tea is delicious♪

You can order xiaolongbao from 5 pieces. There are truffles, crab miso, loofah and shrimp, etc., so you’ll be spoiled for choice. Taiwan is also famous for mullet roe♪ I’m curious about the mullet fried rice. Cold green tea. Cold green tea comes in a bottle. It is sweet and has a clear aftertaste.

Monjiro ordered Sichuan-style wonton noodles. It looks delicious. Lots of shrimp wontons. The scent of pepper spreads. Xiaolongbao has arrived. I couldn’t decide, but I chose the one with crab miso. It seems that the founder of this store has worked at many famous stores! The visuals are also perfect.

There’s a lot of rich soup, the skin is just the right thickness, and it’s a taste that makes you feel happy ♡ This is the fried rice with truffles and mullet roe that I was interested in! It’s a powerful visual. It’s not bitter, and the complex flavor is overwhelming.

I shared it with Mr. Monjiro, and it contains a lot of mullet. The texture is good, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and it’s absolutely delicious! Thank you for the meal! It was the right restaurant to choose ♪ I took a taxi and moved around a bit.

In Taiwan, the MRT (subway) is cheap and convenient, but taxis and Uber are also cheap. After driving for about 15 minutes, you will see a view like this.

I’m heading to “Nekosora” now! Mr. Monjiro had been there before and thought it was a good place, so he wanted to show it to me as well. It’s about 20 minutes by car from the aforementioned Tadako Shinsei Station. About 40 minutes by MRT. We arrived at the ropeway station heading towards Maokong.

This is the “Zoo Station” of the Maokong Ropeway. The ropeway is visible from behind the building. Riding that, we stopped at a temple on the way and headed for Maokong. The ropeway has 4 stations, and you can hop on and off along the way. The fares for each are as follows.

It seems that we are closed on the first Monday of the month and Mondays other than holidays. There are many ways to enjoy it along the ropeway♪ Climb inside the building and aim for the platform. On the way, I found a shop and a souvenir shop♪

You can touch the yo-yoker and ride it. You can also buy a ticket and ride. There are two entrances, and one is like a line to ride a gondola with a transparent floor.

Gondolas come one after another, but it seems like only one out of every few has a transparent floor, so it seems like a long wait. So we take a regular gondola. Since I’m going to the top of the mountain, I wore a light down jacket.

Gongora has a transparent floor! It’s called the Crystal Cabin. It’s about 4km away and takes about 30 minutes to reach the final stop, Maokora. This is the beginning of a leisurely walk in the sky. Everything I see is new and fun. You can see 101. You can clearly see the distance.

Arrived at the first “Dobutsuen Minami Station”. Just get on the train and go to the next station. Rather than heading straight to the top of the mountain, it feels like crossing several valleys. Although it is hazy, it is beautiful enough that you can clearly see the topography and cityscape.

I would like to get off at the second station, “Shinangu Station”, and take a walk ♪ I have arrived at Shinangu Station. There is a temple called “Shinangu” here. It looks spacious, so I’ll take a look at the map.

The buildings seem to be scattered. It’ll be a quick trip, but I’ll take a look around ♪ Shinangu Station looks like this. If you go further up, you will find Nekozora. The garden is well maintained and has a great atmosphere. There is a bright pavilion-like building, and you can see a dragon.

What is this golden strip-like thing? After walking a little further, a gorgeous building came into view. Shinan Temple is the head temple of Taoism in Taiwan. During its history of about 120 years, Buddhism and Confucianism have also been accepted, and three religions exist in one temple.

This is the strip of paper from earlier. It’s like an ema and costs NT$200. I’m curious about the bright red building, but I’d like to see it from the front. Located on the slope of a mountain, you can see a vast view just beyond the gate!

If the weather is nice, it will be even more pleasant. You can see far away scenery. When I looked back, I saw a large and beautiful temple. It is called “Lingxiao Baoden” and enshrines the supreme deity of Taoism, the Jade Emperor.

I don’t know the etiquette, so I’m thinking of just observing and learning later. Although it looks like a two-story building, it is actually a six-story building. Inside, there is something like a bright red corridor in the foreground, and there are many lanterns on the ceiling. Each decoration is splendid and overwhelming.

You can freely enter the building. It’s bright and the ceiling is amazing. It is a beautiful temple with many things to see. There is something like a worship route, so let’s proceed. If you look back, you will see the shrine from earlier standing like this.

The next place we arrived at was something like this. It’s more open than before, and there’s a sense of tension. The decorations and lanterns here are also beautiful. “Junyang Treasure Hall” This is a building where a famous Chinese immortal is enshrined.

If you follow the route to the back, you will find a shrine. “Great Treasure Hall” There are statues of Buddha such as Shakyamuni Buddha and Bodhisattvas. A cloth bag in the middle. There are also lotus flowers folded out of paper.

Shinangu Shrine is a popular power spot. I was able to worship many different gods at once. I returned to the ropeway station. Ride the ropeway up and aim for Maokong. At an altitude of about 300m, we have arrived at Maokora.

It used to be Taipei’s largest tea producing region and is known for producing Tieguanyin tea. As soon as you step out of the station, a refreshing sight spreads out. There are many tea museums here, where you can easily enjoy delicious tea. There are so many.

The time required from here is written and there is also a QR code, which is convenient. There’s a map. If the weather is nice, I’d like to walk all the way to the back. This time, I’d like to go to the store I checked out beforehand. This shop is right next to the station.

There are a lot of people there, but we will stay here. “Sunyang Teahouse”. Apparently there are terrace seats with a nice view. It’s spacious and has a good atmosphere. The store is also very spacious and seems like a comfortable place to spend your time. I found a cat♪

I choose a seat on the terrace and go outside. The seat at the back with the best view is empty! To order, write the number in the column for the item you want and hand it in. The menu is extensive. There’s a lot of tea. There is also English notation.

There is also a menu that you can brew yourself and tea sweets. Although the weather is unfortunate, there is a sense of openness and the air is delicious. If you look closely, you can see a beautiful cityscape. I wanted to eat something sweet, so I ordered some tea cookies.

Chinese style walnut cookies. It has a sweet, light texture and is delicious. The tea I ordered has arrived. Nice color, nice scent. This is Maokong’s specialty, “Muzaku Tetsukannon” Tieguanyin oolong tea, which is said to have a ripe and deep flavor through a complex tea-making process that involves repeated strong fermentation and roasting.

Monjiro’s “Special Grade Wenshan Bao Tung Tea” is one of the four kings of Taiwanese tea, and is the most highly fermented oolong tea. It has a sweet and gentle scent. Both are extremely delicious, and you can enjoy them slowly while enjoying the afternoon in Nekozora♪

When you leave the store, you can smell the delicious aroma. It’s sausage. It’s an addictive flavor, and when I see it, I end up buying it. It has a sweet and gorgeous spice aroma and a unique taste. It’s very juicy and delicious, unlike any Taiwanese sausage I’ve had before.

This is my first time coming to Maokong, so I would like to take a walk around the area. There are many tea craft shops and it is very crowded. Each place is unique and makes you want to stop by.

This is what the area in front of Nekozora Station looks like. It is beautifully maintained. There is cat art everywhere. The station is also very stylish. I’ll be back soon. trifa’s eSIM is also connected to Maokora. You can fully enjoy the scenery from the sky on your way back.

You can also see the sunset between the clouds. It’s great to have a relaxing time while traveling. Take the ropeway back to Zoo Station and take a taxi to the west of Taipei. I came to “Longshan Temple” and wanted to come when it was lit up♪ There

Were many people visiting and it was very crowded. It’s cool. How beautiful! It is open to the public until 21:30. The decoration is so detailed that you’ll want to look at every corner for hours.

It is famous as Taipei’s most powerful power spot and is the oldest temple, having been founded approximately 270 years ago. It was founded by Han Chinese immigrants who came from Quanzhou in Fujian Province. When you pass through the outer gate, this is the view.

Furthermore, there is a magnificent front gate, and its appearance is overwhelming. A waterfall flows next to the gate, and it looks as beautiful as projection mapping. It’s called “Jyoshin Falls” and it’s certainly a beauty that will wash your soul.

The front gate has a dragon gate and a tiger gate on the left and right, and there is a rule that you enter through the right dragon gate and exit through the left tiger gate. The elegant worldview, detailed decorations, and coloring are all fresh. Let’s go deeper from Ryumon.

When you pass through the gate, you will see the main hall in the center. In front of the main shrine is Mikawaden, where visitors pray from the Three Treasure Buddhas. Enthusiastic Taiwanese people. There are also things like fortune slips.

The principal image of Kannon. On the left and right are Manjusri Bodhisattva and Fugen Bodhisattva. Everywhere is decorated in detail, and there are many things to see. You can proceed from the side of the main shrine to the back.

There are many more gods inside the main shrine. There are many Taoist gods, such as the Old Man Under the Moon. This is Mazu. She is the most beloved female deity in Taiwan. It is said that the offerings have meaning depending on the benefit.

There is a night market behind it, so I think it would be a good idea to visit it at the same time. About 20 minutes by taxi from Longshan Temple. I came to the area around City Government Station. A new department store called Breeze opened in 2019 and has a gorgeous atmosphere.

I would like to have dinner here. There are many restaurants. We also have Japanese food. Here’s what you’re looking for. The xiaolongbao I had for lunch was delicious, so I came here looking for more xiaolongbao! Since it’s famous, I thought there might be someone who knew it, so I lent it to them.

It was full, but I was able to get in after a short wait. The interior of the store has a good balance of liveliness and elegance. The tea is delicious, and I also want to drink Taiwanese beer. Order your drinks first and choose your menu.

The specialty here is the 8-colored xiaolongbao! Each one has a unique taste and is interesting. There is a wide variety of menu items and they all look delicious, so I would like to share them all. Besides the xiaolongbao, everything else looks delicious, so I’m having a hard time deciding.

The tea is Jinxuan Oolong tea, which is said to have a milky scent. And Taiwanese beer ♪ First of all, my favorite is Pitan ♡ There is grilled chili pepper in the middle, it has a refreshing spiciness and is very delicious.

I always order stir-fried green vegetables because I can’t get the texture at home. Water lily is rare in Japan. The texture is the best. Shrimp wonton soup. Is delicious. Although the pork bone soup is rich, it does not have a strong aftertaste.

Eight-colored xiaolongbao has arrived, covered in steam! A piece of paper was placed with each flavor and the order in which it should be eaten. Which flavor are you interested in? Surprisingly, the loofah was refreshing and very delicious. Overall, the soup, skin, and ingredients came together well.

The meat is stir-fried beef with black pepper. Tender meat, fresh vegetables, and a sweet and rich flavor. Lastly, we have sweets that were eaten at the imperial court during the Qing Dynasty! Lüdergun. Everything is delicious and very satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

I would like to take a walk around the city at night to fill my stomach. Everywhere is sparkling with holiday spirit. I heard that you can see gorgeous illuminations at a nearby department store called Unification Jidai Department Store, so I decided to go there.

It seems to be Barcelona themed. The bright, pop light will tempt you and make you have fun♪ It’s beautiful! 101 can be seen between the buildings. The power of the clouds is amazing. There were so many big monuments, it was more than I expected.

There were lots of people looking around and taking pictures, and there was a happy atmosphere. Let’s go back to the hotel. good night. good morning! In the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel. There are a lot of Chinese menus and it’s very delicious ♪

On the last day, I went to Yongkang Street to do some shopping. Mr. Monjiro’s smartphone, which had only been charged to 1G last night, showed a message saying it was low, so he charged it. You can charge on the spot, so it’s very easy and convenient ♪

Continue along Yongkang Street, where there are lots of cute miscellaneous goods ♪ There are also famous green onion rice cake and mango shaved ice shops. First of all, there is a general store called “HOLI”. There are lots of stylish miscellaneous goods and tea. This is a travel-sized handmade soap.

There are a variety of scents, and you’ll want them all. This is a tea bag set of Taiwanese tea. Perfect as a souvenir. Goods embroidered with Taiwanese motifs! A pouch and hand towel the size of a coin purse. I couldn’t help but pick up the Taiwanese beer embroidery.

Postcards and tote bags with cute illustrations. After making some purchases, I headed to the next store♪ Next, I went to the famous “Raikou”♪It’s right next to the store I went to earlier. On this day, it was also crowded with Japanese and Korean people. This is a very popular shop.

All the items are cute and it’s no surprise that they are popular. The carefully selected sauces and teas are prepared in cute packages like this. Tote bag, kitchen cloth. When you think of Taiwan, you think of fisherman’s bags. The pouch made of that fabric is so cute ♡

The tote bag is so cute, and there are still so many soaps. There are also items made with nostalgic frosted glass ♡ The shop continues underground! Items made from Taiwanese fabrics and fisherman’s bag fabrics. There are also seasonings♪ I want to use them in cooking when I get home!

Shot glasses, cute tea cans, etc. Dried mangoes have become more popular and fashionable. I’m also a fan of stationery, so I got this Taiwanese design file. I’m satisfied♪ There are also specialty shops that handle tea shops and tea utensils.

I thought it would be difficult to find and buy the tea leaves I liked, but the owner is fluent in Japanese and provides guidance in Japanese, which I am grateful for! I was able to consult with them and purchase tea leaves with peace of mind. There are also some very nice tea utensils.

My favorite tea set. I was wondering if I should buy it. It was a fun shopping time. Finally, I would like to eat Taiwanese food and return to Japan. I found a beef noodle shop near Yongkang Street.

Speaking of Taiwan, it’s beef noodles, but I haven’t tried it yet! Established 65 years ago, this restaurant is popular with both locals and tourists. The restaurant was always full, but I was able to get seated right away. Many of the menus are written in Japanese as well.

There are various side menus, so it’s hard to decide. Small side dishes are self-serve. Beef noodles have arrived. It looks delicious. This is a refreshing soup containing hachinosu and beef tendon. The clean bone broth, melty meat, and noodles are smooth and delicious.

Since all the locals were ordering it, we also had a side menu♪ The cucumber was popular, and it was delicious with good garlic and a nice texture.

Chewy rice rice with spare ribs. The rice and the fat from the spareribs go very well together, and the texture of the meat is so good that you won’t get tired of it. I am very satisfied with the delicious beef noodles. Thank you for the meal♪ It’s time to leave. Leaving Mandarin Taipei.

Take a taxi and head to Matsuyama Airport. It takes about 5 minutes and you’ll be there in no time. Matsuyama International Airport looks like this. I have a few extra Yo-Yokers that I won in the lottery, so I’m thinking of buying some souvenirs at the airport.

This is the check-in counter at Matsuyama Airport. It seems that they mainly fly to Japan, South Korea, and China. EVA Air on the way back. Priority check-in as there is no SFC. Apart from the ticket, we also received information about the lounge.

When you go up to the second floor, you will see the security checkpoint and several restaurants. There are many famous beef noodle shops lined up. There is also a Starbucks. There was a souvenir shop, so I got this magnet. Stop by the lounge, enjoy dim sum and Taiwanese beer, and relax.

I ate a lot of delicious food and made some wonderful memories in Taiwan. It’s great to know the in-flight meal menu in advance. Although Taiwan is close to Japan and has some similarities, it also has many advantages that are different from Japan.

I saw beautiful temples, the tea was delicious, the miscellaneous goods were cute, and the people were all kind and comfortable. In-flight meal on the way home. I love Taiwan. I will definitely go again! Thank you for watching until the end. Where should I go next? That’s it for Lily♪
